Review of Suspiria (1977) by Shaun W — 17 Aug 2014
The use of a plot is practically pointless in a movie such as this. Who needs one? Really. When you have women being hung from ceilings or strangled by razor wire and blood coming at you from every angle imaginable, what good is a story going to do? I like the rich, vibrant colors Argento uses to highlight the darkness of his film.
Very clever. But i'm not someone who judges something just on their looks. I want substance. So i'm only giving it a three.
