Review of Suspicion (1941) by Vicky V — 26 Dec 2007
So you've married a charming sociopath who likes to call you monkeyface and steal your money. What to do? I suppose if you imagine him to be a serial killer and it turns out he isn't it makes the pathological lying and impulsive behaviour all the more tolerable. Whatever you gotta to do to get by, I suppose, but it makes for a frustrating film.
Still, if I had a choice between this and Monster in Law as the only movie I could ever watch again, it's this in a blink.
Bad Hitchcock is still way above most peoples best efforts.
