Review of Suspicion (1941) by Meghan D — 11 Feb 2009
Not the best Hitchcock, but I really enjoy this. Grant and Fontaine are delightful together. The film starts on this lighthearted romantic air and then slowly we begin to suspect that Fontaine might actually be in danger.
The suspense builds well leading to the wonderful milk scene and ending with the ridiculous driving scene. The final moments of the film are messy and taint the previous diligent good work, but it's still enjoyable.
