Review of Suspicion (1941) by Tim M — 16 Feb 2009
Doesn't feel like a Hitchcock film at first but grows into it. The story is good but doesn't have the usual pacing other Hitchcock films have. Quite a bit more romance than expected but it goes with the story.
Not one of his best but still good. As expected from Hitchcock the camera shots are pretty good, several stand out in fact. Leaves you feeling a bit suspicious yourself - true Hitchcock there where you leave thinking about the film.
