Review of Suspect Zero (2004) by Ting-Hey C — 25 Jun 2008
This film, for lack of a better phrase, tries too hard. It displays a solid concept and a solid plot, yet the cinematic execution ended up dull and highly disappointing. The movie may be forgettable, but Ben Kingsley's redeeming performance makes it worth watching at least once: I practically spent the entire hour and a half anticipating his next scene of screen time, and probably would have liked the film much better if it trimmed off the poorly-portrayed legal-aspect middle-man and focused entirely on the antagonists's point of view.
