Pretty shitty. The zombies are not really much of a threat at all (and thus it's not very suspenseful/scary), and the main conflict of the feuding families is ridiculous. I can understand why Romero would think that it's a good idea to use CGI to enhance the zombie kills, but they look pretty terrible if you aren't using a big budget.
Most of the characters are really stupid and/or annoying, and overall it's pretty boring.
