There is another Lynch in the house and her name is Jennifer!!!

If you could pass on directing genes from father to child, then David Lynch has done a great job in doing so with is daughter Jennifer. Surveillance is her second feature and a mind blowing piece of work it is...Her directing style seems to be taken from her dad and enhanced by her own creativity and vision.

The plot is old fodder...murders in a small town, FBI called in to investigate and interview all the witnesses and people involved to figure out wtf is going on....The movie takes a little from the classic Rashomon where we hear different side of what happen from different witnesses, and of course nothing seems right......

Jennifer Lynch uses mood, lighting and music just right so you get a uneasy feeling from the get go. You have quirky characters that are humorous yet disturbing at the same time. You could find yourself letting out a chuckle and then asking, "Why the fuck am I laughing at that"??? However, you will find yourself intrigued and trying to figure out what the shit is going on.

The ending is a surprise twist, that I thought was ingenious and a little different then anything I have seen....I have read a few reviews where people have said they figured shit out in the 1st 15 minutes of the film...I say bullshi!!! I dont think you really could, but who knows. However you spell it out, this is one entertaining movie and worth repeat viewing...
