Review of Surveillance (2008) by Kari S — 06 Feb 2010
Well, it wasn't a bad film at all but it's hard to not blame Jennifer Lynch for copying her father. Whether that's necessarily a bad thing is debatable but I guess I will drop at least half a star for that.
I do like (David) Lynch's films and yes, this one had a lot of (David) Lynch as well but unlike her father, Jennifer Lynch didn't really succeed at keeping the film as interesting. That being said, it was a perfectly decent effort and a perfectly ok film. I just don't really think copying her father as obviously as this was the right way to go.
