Review of Surf Nazis Must Die (1987) by Altered E — 31 Oct 2016
Only in the last 10 minutes of the movie do any of the Nazis die. But they do surf a hell of a lot. It took me a while to realize that this Troma flick is actually a revenge story or something, but I was entertainingly distracted by the endless surfing montages, loitering on the beach, etc.
A further irony in this movie is that the Surf Nazis, whom one would presume are pretty bad-a$$, are actually shown up by a pair of local moms. Considered a classic of the Troma catalogue, SNMD may have been created simply to make a movie behind an awesome title, but offers little else to all but the cinematically curious and the masochistic.
