Support Your Local Sheriff is like a lesser version of Maverick. It's not "laugh out loud" funny, but it's lighthearted, even with the high body count. James Garner does a great job as the reluctant sheriff.
Even though the plot is silly and repetitive, it's a pleasantly amusing western movie.
