Review of Superman Returns (2006) by Rex A — 16 Oct 2013
For famed director Bryan Singer (known for his ambitious X-Men movies), "Superman Returns" was a misfire. Any characterization in regard to Superman/Kent has been done away with (largely due to his silence throughout the film), and the story (along with its pacing) is utterly boring.
Nonetheless, it's a technical feat, featuring fine editing and decent special effects.
