Although it still exudes the charm of the previous films however the story is so full of convoluted garbage that your lucky to be distracted/annoyed by how campy the characters are. Superman Returns, but is not updated, despite some fancy special effects.
The love story was thick w/conflict & tension. Which is good, if there was a decent plot. The whole story just comes off wrong & short sighted. Expect better from this franchise.
