This was a disaster. A poorly acted, brooding, dismal nightmare. It lacks any sense gravitas that any previous incarnation has. The fact that 76% of critics support this tripe is an indictment of the film critic industry.
If your Mom is a film critic, and she says she loves you, take it with a grain of salt.
