It feels extremely rushed overall, with extremely low budget effects, plot points that go nowhere, and one of the lamest supervillains in comic book movie history. It is nice to see Gene Hackman back as Lex Luthor, and Christopher Reeve still does an excellent job with his portrayal of Superman.
