Review of Superman III (1983) by Erin W — 18 Mar 2011
Finally watched this movie all the way through for the first time last night. I cannot believe how horrible it was - ugh, and the ghastly screwball/slapstick humor in the beginning was the worst. The only reason I'm rating this even two stars is because of Christopher Reeve humoring Richard Lester by having anything to do with it.
Another saving grace was Minnie Mouse-voiced "bimbo" blonde babe Lorelei, who did her best to fool everyone around her into thinking she was an idiot while doing things like forgetting herself & dropping her vocal register, and reading Kant in private.
She was so cute & her scenes always cracked me up.
