Review of Superman II (1980) by Drew E — 05 Oct 2009
The first half of Superman II feels kind of watered down compared to the first film, but it starts to redeem itself after that, creating a more complex storyline about how Superman must live a normal life to be with Lois.
It's not quite as good as the first film; the sets aren't as beautiful and the effects are actually worse; however, there's still a sense of campiness, and General Zod is an awesome villain.
Superman II is a decent enough sequel.
