Nowhere near as good as the original film (neither is, for that matter, the Richard Donner cut), but despite all its incredible corniness, "Superman II" does deliver the first on-screen supervillain fight.
.. and that has to count for something. The ending leaves something to be desired, but it is still an entertaining part of the franchise. Besides... General Zod is bad ass.
