Review of Superman II (1980) by D M — 25 Dec 2016
All the major actors return as Superman once again battles Lex Luthor, yet this time the villain has employed the aid of three of Superman's father's nemeses from Krypton. The campiness-level has been raised (changing the tone from the original), the story is a bit uneven at times, and the special-effects bar wasn't raised at all.
Despite these faults, this sequel is very good and stands on its own.
