Review of Superman: Doomsday (2007) by Austin K — 02 Feb 2008
What the hell was with the weird cheekbones on Superman's face? They ruined the design of the character to the point of distracting from the rest of the movie. Also, why did they change all the voices from the show? NONE of them were an improvement and they were all varying degrees of sucktitude.
Anne Heche was especially grating as the (now Asian?) Lois Lane. Most of the dialog was poorly over written and the delivery was sub par. The saving grace was the sheer amount of killing Doomsday did and the fairly catastrophic battles.
I mean, I'd hate to see the bill for all of the municipal repairs! Overall this was a huge let down after how awesome Justice League and Superman TAS were...
