Review of Superman: Doomsday (2007) by Rob Ó — 01 Jan 2008
Although I appreciated the attempt to create an animated, streamlined version of Kevin Smith's failed 'Superman Lives' idea, overall I think the movie was just too dark and focused more on Superman as a badass strongman rather than an inspiration to everyone.
The film didn't really encapsulate how the world felt about Superman either. There was little or no emotional connection.
