Review of Superman: Doomsday (2007) by Keegan D — 12 Jul 2013
Superman Doomsday is a solid comic book film. There are some strange moments in the film when Lex Luther makes clones of Superman and the revealing of Superman's alter ego is a bit early for Lois Lane to find out.
The big major problem with this Superman film is Doomsday. He only appears in the first act of the film until Superman kills him off. I haven't read the comic that this was basted off of, but the title of this film is Superman Doomsday.
That's what the film should be about, Superman fighting off Doomsday. Hopefully, some other superhero adaptation would understand that the story should be followed by its title or else it's not really a story at all.
