Review of Superman: Doomsday (2007) by Psypher P — 22 May 2008
Perhaps it's the medium but there's something naively charming about this. The plot is unassuming, predictable and yet somehow oddly enthralling. There's nothing new on offer here but somehow the events are oddly engaging as they play out, especially with a few moments of delicious, surreal violence (being attacked with a trawler, anyone?).
