Review of Superman: Doomsday (2007) by Erik J — 10 Aug 2008

Could have been one hell of a lot better. There was no real build up to the epic battle that took place. Where were the Justice League? The face that Doomsday decimated the JLA before reaching Metropolis gave a real feeling of just how powerful and unstoppable the behemoth was; it's a shame all of that was missed out.

There was also very little with regards to the Return of Superman; where was Steel, Cyborg and Superboy? All of which played crucial parts in the story and Superman's return.

Overall, does stand up quite well on it's own; although still a big disappointment. Actually found the documentary on writing the original comics held my interest more.
