DC has been releasing several awesome new animated movies such as "Superman Doomsday","Batman Gotham Knight",and "Green Lantern First Flight". The newest DC Animated Universe original movie that has been released is based off a Batman and Superman graphic novel and has been made into an 1 hour and 7 minute movie.

I bought my copy of the 2 disc special edition at my local FYE store and sat down and watched an awsome DCAU movie. Lex Luthor becomes president and he gathers a group of superheroes to help him protect the planet and help make others join Lex. The voice actors from BTAS,TNBA,and SM TAS return as well as the woman who originally voiced Amanda Waller in Justice League Unlimited. Tim Daly reprises his role as Clark Kent/Superman,Kevin Conroy reprises his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman,and Clancy Brown reprises his role as Lex Luthor.

A large meteor made of Kryptonite is heading towards Earth and Lex Luthor has found a way to destroy it,but ends up failing in the end, though he has a sinister plot that he's using to ensure that the meteor hits the Earth. This version of Lex will make you see a whole different side of him. All of the DC superheroes and supervillains have teamed up with Lex,but Batman and Superman are the only two that refuse to team up with Lex. Hence the title of the movie "Superman/Batman Public Enemies".

The acting in this movie is top notch and so are all the fights Batman and Superman have with other DC supervillains and superheroes. We even get to see Batman wear Hawkman's costume.

The ending is cool and the final battle with Lex versus Superman is awesome. I also liked how they had the japanese kid who was helping Batman and Superman be such a fanboy that he made his rocket half Batman and half Superman.

The only problem I have with this movie is a lot of the DC superheroes and supervillains are only used to be pulverized by Batman and Superman.

Anyways I highly recommend buying the 2 disc special edition, because of the movie itself and all of the awesome extras.

I give Superman/Batman Public Enemies a 9.5 out of 10.
