Review of Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (2010) by Michael G — 28 Sep 2010

A first-rate animated film - but I may be alittle biased, since there is yet to be a DC Universe Animated Original Movie that I didn't like. Wonderfully adapted from the comic, with the classic (and fantastic) voice talents of Conroy and Daly.

I hadn't known Summer Glau was voicing Supergirl, but as soon as I heard her speak it made this movie even better. The only problem I really had with this film is with some of the actual animation, and the way the characters were drawn - at times they just plain looked weird (examples: Superman looked like he was wearing eyeliner, Kara had crazy anime hair, Batman was shaped funny).

But! Superman/Batman: Apocalypse is still a fantastic movie.
