Review of Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (2010) by Tom R — 28 Oct 2010
It's great to see Superman and Batman together, but there are some issues with Superman/Batman: Apocalypse. There are some decent superhero action scenes and even Wonder Woman plays a significant part, but it's not as intriguing as most of DC's animated movies.
To its credit, it has top voice talent and good animation. However, the climactic scenes on Apokolips aren't really that fun. Also, Superman's dog is in it for one scene then disappears. I mean, I vaguely knew he had a Superdog (I can't even remember the thing's name), but it was really distracting.
Could it have been better? Yes, but it's enjoyable enough for a viewing.
