Let old Gus give you a private lesson in foreign relations.

A recent meteor shower leaves a present behind in the Metropolis harbor. A female emerges from the meteor and it becomes apparent that the female is Superman's cousin from Krypton. As she acclimates to the nature of humans, she is discovered by Superman's arch nemesis, Darkseid. Darkseid will stop at nothing to capture Superman's cousin and enslave her as his conquering copilot.

"With your death, my life begins.".

Lauren Montgomery, director of Justice League - Crisis on Two Earths, Green Lantern: First Flight, Wonder Woman, and Superman: Doomsday, delivers Superman/Batman: Apocalypse. The storyline for this picture is interesting and well written and includes numerous characters from the DC universe. The animation is okay but not as good as previous DC pictures. The voiceovers are well selected and were from the Superman and Batman animated series.

"Granny has your room all ready.".

I have loved all of the recent animated films from DC. This is not one of their best films, but it is very good. My favorite recent releases to date include Wonder Woman, Batman/Superman: Public Enemies, and Batman: Under the Red Hood. This is not quite as good as those three movies and was on par with Green Lantern: First Flight and Justice League Crisis on Two Earths. This is definitely worth watching and adding to your DVD collection.
