Review of Superhero Movie (2008) by Paul C — 06 Jan 2010

This was my whole reaction to this film. First I knew how it was going to be, because they have been making a lot of these lately and they have all been utter crap. But the movie started out ok and then actually got kind of interesting.

I even caught myself laughing; thanks to Leslie Nielsen and some nice slapstick parts. Then I even found out that the movie had a decent story going. But then it hit the half way mark and it was like the movie instantly got a disease and died.

I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe this film was going for an ok review and then it was like it all just gave up. The last half of the film was back to some of the most horrible crap I have seen.

Why do they make these movies? What happened to good old slapstick with a story like Airplane? I will say I didn't hate part of the film though since it got me interested. It is just too bad it had to punch me in the stomach at the end and steal my wallet.
