Regardless of dirty and sexual dialogue, Superbad glorifies the importance of mercy and forgiveness in crime and justice as well as the social adventure that teenage boys face upon growing up to meet girlfriend pairing and alcohol and the need to stay together even if their different personalities (Seth - violent and selfish, Evan - passive and mature) clash unfavorably.
