Review of Super Size Me (2004) by Phillipe H — 19 Jul 2012
Well-directed, alarmingly alert and cautionary, this documentary is one of those rare pieces that shine thanks to the devotion of its director and protagonist. The message in the footage, albeit somewhat placed out of context, piece together to create a message that gave seed to the Organic and Farmer's Market movement in California, if not in Texas and West Virginia.
Shocking, if not disgusting, Morgan Spurlock creates his iconic persona and invites you to a frightening view of America's nutritional future (or the lack thereof).
