What makes this film what it is, is Spurlock's honest approach toward the subject. He holds nothing back as he entertains, and disgusts. The film's main purpose is to stop McDonalds consumption and it manages that times 10.
Spurlock himself is an unlikely hero in the film, and one of the reasons for the film being so fascinating is because of him.
