Was expecting something along the lines of Kick-Ass but although they share the same ideas they couldn't be any more different. This movie is just plain stupid but in a funny way. At times our protagonist seemed to be missing the whole point behind his reasons becoming a vigilante & he was just becoming worse than the people he ended up assaulting. Smashing someone's skull in with a monkey wrench just for jumping a queue is just not what a Superhero would do!
Rainn Wilson plays a depressed loser who loses his wife to the influences of a drug dealer & after a vision becomes the Crimson Bolt. After some inappropriate attacks on small time petty thieves he gets back on track to save his wife from the evil clutches of Jacques the drug dealer.
