Exceeded my expectations. Funny and charming Scottish musical. Jane Horrocks is as good as I have seen her in a long time. Peter Mullan gives a good performance at her noble husband. Some of the set pieces are excellent.
The aerial photography of Edinburgh is great. A real feel good movie in the style of Mamma Mia, but less cheesy. Was I alone in spotting a brief cameo appearance by the Reid brothers themselves? Recommended.
