Sad to say, this is not the Chris Guthrie that Grassic Gibbons wrote about. Having a non Scottish actress who cannot even say loch is also disappointing . The countryside of the Mearns has strangely moved to Deeside and NZ and overall,we felt very disappointed.
More a sentimental drama than a good story retold.
