Review of Sunset Boulevard (1950) by Darin S — 09 Apr 2012
Billy Wider is one of the greatest filmmaker's of all time. Among the many classics he made my favorite is Sunset Boulevard. This story is like none other. A out of work actress, who was once a big star, takes in a hack writer uses her to get ahead in Hollywood.
The film has no real hero and no likeable characters, but all characters are interesting. The film leads up to one of the greatest film endings of all time.
