Review of Sunset Boulevard (1950) by Alex T — 12 Dec 2012
It's hard to believe that almost 60 years ago a film could be as frightening and obsessively restless as it was when it was made. Swanson's epic portrayal of the crazed silent picture star years beyond her prime helps make Sunset Blvd.
feel like a 1950s version of a modern day David Lynch film with its sickenly attractions and true look to the darkness of Hollywood.
