Review of Sunset Boulevard (1950) by Daniel K — 19 May 2013
Gloria Swanson is so strange and isolated from reality, it's almost a horror film because her dark empty mansion and her strange manner is so disturbing. It seems like it shatters the glorified image of hollywood film stars so well, that no movie has captured it with quite the same gritty reflection of the aforementioned subject matter.
