Review of Sunset Boulevard (1950) by Simeon D — 24 Dec 2010
Gloria Swanson gives one of the greatest performances of all time as a delusional silent-film star in this hilarious look at Hollywood stardom. Billy Wilder's script is witty and provides an infinite flow of one liners. The direction and camera angles are stylish and expertly designed.
Overall, one of the better character pieces ever made. 100/100.
