Review of Sunset Boulevard (1950) by Gordon T — 06 Nov 2011
I saw this at Cornell Cinemas a few weeks ago (it was square 1:33:1).
Another "Perfect Film" Gloria Swanson is TOTALLY OVER-THE-TOP; its an ultimate film noir (where the character finds himself so deep in a situation he can only go deeper).
I have to get some slides made of this film for my images-section here on R-T.
There is a lot going on in each frame of the film.
