Review of Sunset (2019) by Dawdlingpoet — 09 Apr 2022
This is an intriguing watch, where we follow a young lady trying to piece together what happened to her brother, with a period backdrop of Budapest in the 1910s . I liked seeing the fancy hats the milliners worked on - there are some impressive costumes present.
The film has a feel of mystery and suspicion throughout. Its tense in places, though it features some quite jerky/shaky camerawork which may put some people off. It does keep you guessing though, regarding who can be trusted and I thought overall its a pretty good film.
It is perhaps a little long at about two hours and twenty minutes long, so that and the camerawork may put some people off but if that doesn't bother you then I'd say this is worth a watch, yes.
