Review of Cha Cha Real Smooth (2022) by Dawdlingpoet — 10 Aug 2022

This is a good drama film, with interesting characters and a good plot. I enjoyed it. It's not especially outstanding or greatly memorable but it could have been duller. It was interesting to see how the parents responded to the main character, Andrew, though I was somewhat surprised when he told them that he's only 22 - he seemed a bit older than that I'd have thought, though I see the actor is only 25 (born in 1997), so I guess it wasn't far off (I'm rubbish at guessing peoples age). It was interesting the dynamics between characters, with Andrew giving advice to the younger brother, David. I thought the character development was pretty good, all things considered. I liked the personalised tshirts the main characters wear at one point. Its a bit wacky but I liked it.
