A haunting and exquisite masterpiece of the silent era. The cinematography and soundtrack were mesmerizing. Outstanding performances include Janet Gaynor, Oscar winner for Best Actress and a cameo appearance by Gino Corrado, the only actor to appear in both "Casablanca" and "Citizen Kane.
" Subtitled "A Song of Two Humans," it has the distinction of receiving the first and only Academy Award for Best Picture, Unique and Artistic Production.
