Review of Sunrise (1985) by Sv G — 27 Sep 2009
From 1927 comes this charming story of love and retribution and forgiveness. It's cleverly executed considering the yearit was made. Janet Gaynor is just adorable as the country girl and Margaret Livingston is one bad bad bad city slicker of a girl who tries to lure the country girl's husband away from her .
J Farrell McDonald is in that lead role and is quite dashing. The DVD by the way is beautifully restored. I enjoyed this.
