Review of Sunrise (1985) by Matt H — 16 Sep 2013
Lovely, hopeful film. Hard to believe this is from the same director who brought us the terrifying Nosferatu in 1922. George O'Brien is a revelation -- and gorgeous, too! It is sad he didn't have more starring roles.
We don't need subtitles to know what is going on; the silence is a wonderful break from the constant jabbering of TV and film today.
