Review of Sunday Bloody Sunday (1971) by Tony P — 04 Sep 2015
Incredibly smart performances, particularly from Glenda Jackson. The film is interesting in the same way as a row of dominoes. One event leads to another, with an occassional surprise, but has a realistic and expected conclusion.
If it weren't for Schlesinger this film would either have no life or just appear ridiculous. Some good moments, but mostly boring.
