Review of Summertime (1955) by Kimberly B — 10 Sep 2007
Personally I found this film to be rather pretentious and too much like a travelogue for its own good, but then I'm not a huge fan of romance pictures. So why the high score? Well, when taking into consideration how well directed and acted this is, added to the fact that lovers of the romance genre will have little to moan about, 'Summertime' is obviously a bit of a corker.
Just don't expect me to watch it again any time soon.
