Might be a recycled plot. But to see Gene Kelly do the newspaper dance, and both Gene and Judy dancing is amazing. I actually believe they made one of the best dancing couples I've ever seen. Judy never really got enough credit for her hoofing.
BTW the score is amazing. Harry Warren's "Friendly Star", "Howdy Neighbor" and "You Wonderful You" will easily be stuck in your head for days.
