Review of Summer of Sam (1999) by Scott G — 06 Aug 2007
Newyork city 1977, the son of sam killer is on the loose, killing women with brunette coloured hair, living through the terror, are a bunch of people from brooklyn, as fears grow deeper, paranoia, grows and as the summer gets hotter, tension in newyork is not good, richie, played by adrien brody is suspected of the murders, by his mate, vinny,, john leguizamo, who in turn is in fear of his life as he believes the son of sam knows hes a witness, hes also cheating on his girlfriend, played by mira sorvino, a great look back at 70s newyork, brilliantly directed by n.
Y native spike lee, certainly one of his best, and in a way a companion piesce to his film, do the right thing. a great soundtrack, and the best use of, the who songs, ive heard, top cast everyone is great, especuiually, brody and leguizamo, a great watch.
