Yes, this coming of age film is one of THE best! Such a sensitive tale and beautifully told. When I 1st saw it on HBO or something, as a pre-teen, it blew my mind and shaped my view of 'things' a lot.
Also, in band, we learned to play the soundtrack. The whole thing haunts me...
