Review of Summer Hours (2008) by John A — 18 Dec 2009
This is a complete movie, populated by characters who live and behave like real people. Though the actors are good, the direction is superb and the ending is perfect, the film is often so authentic that it borders on dull.
One feels as if we're eavesdropping on actual lives - and that's the film's blessing and curse.
